Heritage Tapestry

Women weave tapestries of hope and dreams.
With each proven patriot,
With each family tale,
With each old photograph,
Something of the past is saved --
To be remembered and treasured.

Women weave tapestries of love and vision.
With each careful paper trail,
With each date confirmed by research,
With each worn family Bible,
Something important lives on --
To teach us patience and wisdom.

Women weave tapestries of peace and family,
As gifts for the children
Who will carry their unique heritage
Forward into the future.
