Getting Started
I will shake my life,
turn it upside down on the floor
like pick-up sticks
to root through memories,
desires that cooled,
dreams that flickered
on with the light of hope
(We must have hope
::fingers flutter dramatically at right temple::).
And then, after I'm through with this process,
I'll decide which reality to live,
Turn away from counterfeit,
And choose to continue.
